By offering your time and expertise, you are providing low income children with invaluable learning opportunities that they might not otherwise receive. We hope this experience will bring you the satisfaction of knowing that you are playing a vital role in ensuring that all children have equal opportunities to succeed academically.
Flexible Hours
We understand and respect that our tutors lead busy lives and strive to accommodate their schedules accordingly. You will be able to choose tutoring times that align better with your availability. Additionally, all tutoring sessions are conducted remotely, allowing you to volunteer from the comfort of your own home.
Improve Leadership Skills
You will be taking on a leadership role by guiding and supporting young students in their educational journey. Your experience with A-Z BrainyBeez will leave you with stronger communication and interpersonal skills that you will be able to apply further on in your own career paths. Additionally, for our tutors in high school aiming for higher education, many college professors offer teaching assistant positions to undergraduates and many of our team members have had the privilege to have this role. From personal experience, they say that prior teaching experience made it much easier to learn to explain much more complex and confusing topics.
Build Meaningful Relationships
You will have the chance to make meaningful connections with the students you tutor and serve as a positive mentor and role model. Think of the times when having that amazing teacher completely changed your interest in a class in the best way.
